February 5, 2009 (Los Angeles, CA) – ToyQuest, a LA-based toy manufacturer known for its unique and innovative products, released the first line of NFL licensed Pro-Bots (professional robots) at mass retail this past 2008 holiday season. This year, ten new players will be added to the line-up, including two star athletes from Super Bowl XLIII -- Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

These six inch figures are officially licensed by NFL Properties LLC and NFL Players Inc. NFL Pro-Bots are fully articulated and feature a unique head flipping mechanism that switches between the head of the player and their helmeted robot alter egos.

In addition to the Super Bowl XLIII stars Fitzgerald and Roethlisberger, the 2009 Pro-Bot line-up is comprised of Brian Westbrook of the Philadelphia Eagles, Brady Quinn of the Cleveland Browns, Darren McFadden of the Oakland Raiders, Clinton Portis of the Washington Redskins, Matt Ryan of the Atlanta Falcons, DeMarcus Ware of the Dallas Cowboys, Randy Moss of the New England Patriots, Brandon Jacobs of the New York Giants and Patrick Willis of the San Francisco 49ers.

2008 Pro-Bots are Brett Favre from the Green Bay Packers , Brian Urlacher of the Chicago Bears, Tony Romo of the Dallas Cowboys, Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts, Adrian Peterson of the Minnesota Vikings, Tom Brady of the New England Patriots, Reggie Bush of the New Orleans Saints, Eli Manning of the New York Giants, Troy Polamalu of the Pittsburgh Steelers (pictured here), and LaDainian Tomlinson of the San Diego Chargers.

The current line is available at Toys “R” Us stores nationwide. The 2009 line-up will launch this fall.
