| Joe Chiodo was born in Sharon PA on January 22 1958. In school, his best friend was a crayola. At the age of eleven, Joe realized being an artist was something he wanted to do for the rest of his life. Chiodo describes his art training as self-taught with a ton of drawing classes. His talent and determination eventually paid off when he landed a paperback book cover as his first professional job at the age of 21. From 1980 to 1990, Joe freelanced as a paperback cover illustrator, painting covers for Marvel, and designing toy box covers for Mattel. |
