Exactly at midnight on his fifteenth birthday, NICK BLUETOOTH receives a mysterious, glowing present that he guesses is some kind of Map. The Map leads Nick and his best friend ALLEGRA ZANE to an Egg-shaped ship that transports them to the fantastic Outer Dimension. There, Nick and Allegra meet JENS, a cycloptic robot, who isn't expecting Nick or Allegra, but a Great Warrior who is destined to save everyone in the Outer Dimension from the evil tyrant GORM.
