Seller Listings
Seller Listings
Toy & collectible sellers with an online presence (on a marketplace like eBay or on their own website) can now upload product listings to this site. These are then automatically displayed on matching archive pages, and under their seller profile. This is a free service - but it does require registration/login.
Please note that we do not provide marketplace or transaction services - all listings must be hosted elsewhere on the web.
Import Instructions
Listings are imported via a CSV file (CSV=comma-separated values). In this file, every line describes 1 listing. While it is possible to generate a CSV file manually with a simple text editor, it is much easier to use a spreadsheet program like Excel. You simply enter your data in the spreadsheet, and then save the spreadsheet as a CSV file. For a quick start, download this sample Excel spreadsheet (shown below). The first row with column names must remain unchanged (do not reorder the columns!).

Required CSV fields
The following attributes must be provided for every listing, correctly formatted. When a listing is missing information, or includes incorrect information, it is skipped/ignored.
sellername The value in this field must match the Company name in the user's login profile
sellersku This is the code that the seller uses to uniquely identify each product in inventory. On Amazon, this would the ASIN. At most 35 characters.
barcode This is the barcode that was placed on each product by its manufacturer. UPC codes are 12-digits long, EAN codes are 13-digits long. No dashes or spaces
price This is the selling price for the item, in US dollars, with 2 decimal digits for cents. Also, no commas!
shipincluded If shipping is included in the price, put a 'Y' in this field. Otherwise 'N'
title This is the full listing title - Please keep it short.
url This is the complete URL to the page hosting the listing
Optional CSV fields
While not strictly necessary, the remaining fields allow us to find more (and better) placement pages for every listing. This is particularly true for items that do not currently appear in the archive, and therefore cannot be matched precisely by UPC.
thumb_url This is a complete URL to a small image of the product - ideally a front-in-packaging-view, 400 pix high (large images are slow to display).
manufacturer The product manufacturer (example: Mattel)
brand This is the product brand/license (example: Masters of the Universe).
productname This is the name for the item, excluding manufacturer, brand and item-type. (example: Skeletor)
CSV Considerations
Because commas are used to separate them, your data elements cannot have any commas (particularly titles & prices).
Your data should consist of normal keyboard characters.
Things to avoid: alt-chars, unicode, European accented vowels, Japanese kanji, arabic, etc...
Leading and trailing blanks are automatically stripped away.
Do not use any HTML formatting tags (ex: <b>) or entities (ex: &nbsp;) in your data.
Quote characters embedded in data can cause many difficulties. The import process handles them as follows:
+ Single quote characters (') are automatically replaced with (`) (backtick/back quote).
+ Double quote characters (") are automatically removed. If you are using a double-quote to indicate 'inches', you should spell out inches instead.
+ Do not use enclosing quotes (" ... text ... " or ' ... text ... ') to bypass any the restrictions above. Yes, that works elsewhere, but not here.
Import Process
You can use the CSV file to both ADD and UPDATE listings.
+ The first time you upload a file, all listings within are ADDED (assuming no data errors).
+ On subsequent uploads, listings that are already in the database are UPDATED. Use this feature to change pricing.
Listings cannot be DELETED, but they do expire after a year.
+ When a listing is updated, its expiration date is automatically reset.
You can import up to 3000 items at a time. The larger the import, the longer it takes to process.
Our server will automatically display each listing on the appropriate matching pages (item, toyline and/or manufacturer pages). Listings appear at the bottom of the pages.
And please note: sellers who misuse this service will be blocked.
