Product description
product: 21st Century Ultimate Soldier WWII, 7.5 cm German Anti-Tank PAK 40 1/18 Scale
The scourge of Shermans and T34s, Germany produced and deployed more than 23,000 Pak 40 7.5cm anti-tank guns during WWII. The PaK 40 was the standard German anti-tank gun until the end of the war, and was supplied by Germany to its allies. The detail and painting on these models are awesome! As a 40-somthing guy, I have to say, these are painted and detailed way cooler than I was ever able to produce as a modeler. New-in-the box 1/18 scale plastic model kit includes a Pak 40 with gun that swivels and elevates, trails that open for deployment and close for limbering, three ammunition crates (each with three highly detailed rounds--nine rounds total), and one fully posable Army crew member with full accouterments and optional overcoat and arms to convert into an member of the SS Division Deutschland. Minor glueless assembly required. There are lots of small parts. Recommended for ages 5+. These models are out of production so don't hesitate to buy! When these are gone, that is it. Don't be left out in the cold with no anti-tank defenses like the 6th Army at Stalingrad! 'Package Rash:' These are unopened and new in the original box. Though 21st Century Toys went out of business several years ago since that time these toys have been far from idle. They were moved around in several warehouses in Arizona, then rode in semi trailers to Missouri, where they have been (carefully) stored at our place. As the packages rub together, though, they can loose some of their 'brand new' luster; especially items that were not originally packed with tissue separating the different toys in the same box. Some of the clear plastic packaging around action figures clearly shows where it was rubbing up against the next package in the case. Packaging can also get scratched, dinged, dented, etc. during shipping
