US MARINE CORPS Sniper  
On November 10th, 1775, the Continental Congress passed a resolution to raise two battalions of Marines for service with the fleet. This event marked the birth of the United States Marine Corps. Since that time, Marines have served on land, sea and in the air establishing traditions of duty, strength, sacrifice, discipline and determination.
