□ | About JAKKS Pacific Inc JAKKS Pacific, Inc. is a multi-brand toy company that designs, develops, produces and markets toys and related products under various brand names (Flying Colors, Road Champs, Remco, Child Guidance, Color Club, and Pentech) in multiple product categories ( Wheels, Action Figures, Crafts, Pre-School, Plush and Dolls.) Jack Friedman co-founded JAKKS Pacific, Inc. in 1995, serving since that time as the company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to his positions at JAKKS Pacific, from January 1989 until January 1995, Mr. Friedman was president, chief executive officer and director of THQ, Inc. a publicly held company that develops and sells interactive games and software. From 1970 to 1991, Mr. Friedman held executive positions at several other toy companies, including president and chief operating officer of LJN Toys, Ltd., a toy and software company. When MCA/Universal, Inc. acquired LJN in 1986, Mr. Friedman continued as president until MCA's sale of LJN in late 1988. |

(Nasdaq:JAKK) announced today that the Company has completed its acquisition of substantially all of the assets and liabilities of Creative Designs International Ltd. (CDI), a twenty-six year-old, privately-held toy company based in Feasterville, PA, and a related Hong Kong company. CDI is a leading manufacturer of girls' dress-up and role-play toys, including dress-up outfits, tea sets, pretend kitchens and vanities, and holds licenses from Disney for its classic characters, princesses and fairies. Stephen Berman, JAKKS Pacific's President and COO, stated, "We could not be more thrilled to add CDI's portfolio of evergreen products into JAKKS(TM). We believe that the addition of the CDI business, combined with our continued focus on the growth of all of JAKKS' divisions, will strengthen JAKKS' product line and contribute to the Company's long-term growth.
