About Mezco Toyz

Founded in 2001, Mezco Toyz is a New York City based toy company that manufactures both licensed product and original concepts. Mezco manufactured a variety of children's and collector product from Popeye to Reservoir Dogs in 2001. Mezco will diversify further in 2002, manufacturing dolls, stationery, lunch boxes and much more. Michael "Mez" Markowitz is the founder and president of Mezco Toys.

A toy company unlike any other, Mezco combines humor and horror with action and adventure to produce the most sought after collectibles and toys on this (or any other) planet. Michael Markowitz (Mez), the President of Mezco, is the driving force behind all aspects of design and development.Working with the best talents in the toy industry, Mez conceives and directs each line from start to finish. Mezco is a driving force in the industry, developing both licensed properties and in-house twisted concepts for years to come.Mezco Toyz was established in 2000, and we've had the pleasure of creating toys for such licenses as Family Guy, Hellboy, The Goon, Scarface, South Park, The Warriors and Edward Scissorhands. We've also created several in-house lines including Living Dead Dolls, TikiMon and Mez-Itz™ (miniature block figures with tons of attitude and amazing detail). Our Mez-Itz™ line has encompassed such licenses as Hellboy, Edward Scissorhands, Robocop and several proprietary lines including Defenders of the Dragon and Pirates.Always expect the unexpected from Mezco Toyz.
