Propeller-heads rejoice. QUISP, the infamous pun-spewing pink alien in the green spacesuit from the 60s and 70s, is back.Let's recap his adventures, shall we. After winning an election on Earth as favorite cereal against his archenemy Quake, Quisp returned to his quadrangle in Planet Q in the late 70s to replenish Earth's Quisp cereal supply. Now he has re-entered Earth's atmosphere as the first Internet Cereal. The crunchy corn cereal outsells its' closest competitor at Netgrocer.com by 40 percent.Currently he devotes his energies to delivering Quisp, his "quispy, quunchy, quazy energy cereal" to the inhabitants of Earth and beyond. With his trademark propeller on his head, he flies around speaking in his high Brooklynesque accent, peppering his sentences with random and unexpected monotone emphasis. Often, his eyes will roll about in their sockets, leaving you with the impression that Quisp is crazy. But he is just having fun, as his impish grin shows. At www.quisp.com you can watch the new adventures of Quisp courtesy of John Kricfalusi, creator of the kitschy Ren & Stimpy cartoons.Even if you're not a Baby Boomer who sat raptured during the original Quisp commercials on Saturday morning cartoons, let Quisp stir up fond memories for you today with Majestic Studio's 7-inch Quisp figure. The Classic Quisp figure comes packaged in a clamshell case, dressed in his stylish lime-green spacesuit and accompanied by his trusty big red cereal spoon and a miniature box of delicious Quisp cereal.During his stay on Earth, Quisp learned the sport of baseball and became an enthusiastic fan. Never one to do things in a small way, our Baseball Fanatic Quisp wears a baseball uniform, cap and a glove complete with a ball. And, check out his stats on the enclosed official Quisp baseball card.As Quisp says, "Have a cosmic day!"
